Debra JoAnn (Wilcox) Glenn, 60, of McAlester, died Saturday May 28, 2016 at her residence.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at Bishop Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 at Hartshorne First Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Steve Hughes. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Richmond, Charlie Naush, Justin Duvall, David Jones, Larry Eagleberger, and Ferrell Cunningham.

Debra JoAnn (Wilcox) Glenn was born to Clyde and Joyce Wilcox on May 14, 1956 in Hartshorne. She grew up in Hartshorne and graduated from Hartshorne High School in 1974. Debra married Harold Glenn on July 20, 1974.

She attended Eastern Oklahoma State College where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business, and then a Master’s degree in education from East Central University at Ada. Debra worked for Hartshorne public schools teaching computer science, and was the Information Technology Coordinator before retiring in 2012.

Debra loved riding horses, fishing and being with her grandchildren and family. She was a member of the Hartshorne First Baptist Church.

Debra is survived by her husband: Harold Glenn of the home; son: Rodney Glenn and wife, Diane of Edmond; son: Monte Joe Glenn and wife, Denise of McAlester; daughter, Jami Dawn Guest and husband, Chase of Shady Point.

Also, grandchildren: Peyton Glenn, Parker Glenn, Landen Glenn, Gracey Glenn, Cayden Guest, Cooper Guest, Ty Gann, and Shelby Gann; great-grandchild: Jaiden Gann; brother: Steve Davis of Hartshorne; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Joyce Wilcox, maternal grandparents: Claud H. and Clara (Watts) Stevens, and her paternal grandparents.
